Los Alamos Family Council has been blessed with the support of our community since we were founded in 1962. Much of our original funding was provided by The Los Alamos Community Chest, the predecessor to the United Way of Northern New Mexico. Since then, United Way of Northern New Mexico has continued to be one of our largest single sources of funding.
United Way of Northern New Mexico has been a champion of the work done by nonprofits throughout Los Alamos and Northern New Mexico. Their support of Los Alamos Family Council has enabled us to provide affordable mental health services to thousands of clients over a span of time nearly 60 years and thousands of youth at the Youth Activity Centers since 1982.
