This month marks five years since Jordan Redmond joined the Los Alamos Family Council team as an employee.
Jordan is currently serving as Los Alamos Family Council’s Executive Director. Before assuming this role in April 2019, Jordan served as Program Director for the Youth Activity Centers starting in November 2016. Prior to being an employee of Los Alamos Family Council, Jordan served on the LAFC board from 2014 – 2015.
Jordan brings a diverse background to the LAFC team. He has worked for a private military school, the US House of Representatives Committee on Armed Services, a Silicon Valley tech company, in law enforcement, restaurants, and retail. This diverse background has enabled Jordan to successfully expand program services and launch the LAFC Endowment effort.
Jordan has a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and general ministry from Lincoln Christian University, a Master of Science degree in Organizational Leadership from Norwich University, and a Master of Science in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Grand Canyon University.
Jordan and his wife, Blair, have four children: Severus, Edelweiss, Lusitania, and Ramius. Their family reside in Los Alamos.
“It is such an honor to be at the helm of a vibrant team and to do my part to help a financially healthy nonprofit raise to the challenge of improving the social and emotional well-being of our community,” Redmond shared. “My job is made so much easier through the support of a strong team and a support Board of Directors. It is such a privilege to serve with them!”
